The results of our new workplace survey not only attracted attention during our webinar, but also in the media. Business editor Michael Hotz from the Blick newspaper picked up on the key findings of our latest employee survey and dedicated a separate article to the topic: "Uninspired young people - only employees over 50 really want to get stuck in."
Our employee study shows: Inspiration is a key productivity factor. However, Swiss companies are leaving a lot of potential untapped here. According to our new Inspiring Workplace Index, a large proportion of employees in Switzerland lack inspiring working conditions: too little appreciation, hardly any inspiring visions, little room for co-creation. This has serious consequences for employees' performance, commitment and willingness to transform. The economic damage is in the billions. The strongest inspirational force does not come from young talent, but from the 50+ generation.
"A secure job or free coffee are no longer enough today," says study director Dr. Kathrin Neumüller. "If you want to retain and attract employees, you have to offer more than just a fair salary. You need inspiration in the workplace. Because inspiration is much more than a feel-good factor - it motivates people to give their best every day."
The survey is based on feedback from around 500 employees from Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
