Criteria for our Excellence@Work Award

To qualify for our Excellence@work Award, companies must meet strict criteria:

  • Employee motivation of at least 80 index points
  • At least 80 percent of employees must have participated in the survey
  • and an average score of at least 77.5 on the topics or drivers related to the work environment

High participation rate

39 out of 41 employees participated in the Landheim Brüttisellen employee survey. The high participation rate of 95% demonstrates the employees’ strong interest in sharing their perspectives and contributing to the further development of Landheim Brüttisellen—the employees believe that their feedback is taken seriously and leads to positive changes.

Excellent employee motivation

The overall motivation score of 88 index points is an excellent result. The significant gap compared to the external benchmark for residential care facilities, which stands at 74 index points, further underscores this strong result.

In the ValueQuest model, employee motivation consists of two dimensions: need fulfillment (the extent to which employees’ basic needs are met) and employee commitment (the extent to which this translates into a sense of obligation toward the employer). At Landheim Brüttisellen, these key dimensions of motivation are well balanced at a very high level.

79% of employees achieved a motivation score of 75 index points or higher, which is a strong indication of a vibrant corporate culture and shows that a large proportion of employees contribute to the team’s work with conviction, commitment, and enthusiasm.

Such a high level of motivation among the majority of employees is a key factor in the quality of our daily work and strengthens the sustainable development of Landheim Brüttisellen. At the same time, this result confirms that employees perceive the existing framework conditions, corporate culture, and leadership as supportive and appreciative.

Strong sense of identification with Landheim Brüttisellen as an employer

The engagement analysis also reveals a strong emotional connection among employees to their work and their employer. At Landheim Brüttisellen, 90% of employees are active ambassadors. In the employee survey, ambassadors are defined as those individuals who:

  • Talk positively about your workplace
  • Recommend the home as an employer
  • Have a strong emotional attachment to the country home
  • Proud to be part of the team
  • Be highly motivated.

The high Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) of 69 also reflects employees’ strong willingness to recommend their employer. Employees identify with Landheim Brüttisellen and speak positively about it to others, which contributes to the organization’s appeal as an employer.

Factors for High Employee Motivation: Fairness, Teamwork, and Culture

  • Fairness & Responsibility
Fairness means distributing opportunities equitably, recognizing performance objectively, and creating a work environment where trust can flourish. Landheim Brüttisellen takes responsibility not only toward its employees, but also toward society and the environment.
  • Teamwork at
The excellent rating for teamwork is also a particularly strong indicator. Landheim Brüttisellen encourages open communication and leverages diverse perspectives as a strength. This not only leads to better results but also fosters a work environment where everyone can contribute and grow.
  • Shared Vision
Feedback indicates that employees are familiar with, share, and actively uphold the company’s values. There is a strong sense of community and an environment in which everyone can contribute. This shared foundation ensures that Landheim Brüttisellen can pursue its goals in alignment with its values.

Landheim Brüttisellen more than deserves the Excellence@work Award. We extend our heartfelt congratulations on this outstanding achievement and look forward to continuing to follow Landheim Brüttisellen’s path to success.
